Video Production

A Few Words…

These examples below represent the struggles, and successes, that came with attempting to learn both Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. I had zero experience with either of these programs prior to enrolling in the Interactive Media program with Quinnipiac University. I would like to work with these programs, and the techniques used along with them, after I have completed my course of studies.

This piece was my first attempt at utilizing the “green screen” technique. It also showcases some animation as the statue slides into the foreground and the phrase “Namaste” appears.

This piece, “The Journey to Groove” was created using figurines around my apartment and stop-motion animation. The objective of the assignment had been to take enough still shots to create approximately a couple minutes of video. This video would tell a story, which in this case, focuses on three separate seagulls’ journey to find their “tribe”.

This example immediately above is a combination of a handful of “cinemagraphs” and some instrumental music to create a short film conveying “Tranquility”.
